Trifexisis for use only with dogs and puppies at least 8 weeks of age, weighing 5 lbs (2.3kg) minimum.Heartgard Plus may be given to dogs and puppies from 6 weeks, with no weight restrictions.

Trifexis has not been tested as safe for use with breeding males, and should be used with caution on pregnant females.
